Ted Norminton with Grebes

Ted Norminton (1944 - 2019) was a gifted and popular creative paperfolder from the North West of England. Probably his best known works are his Daffodil (diagrams available on this page) and Swan, but Ted created many more wonderful origami designs, often involving very precise and well-constructed folding sequences. His works are published in 2 BOS booklet "Sink or Swim with Ted Norminton" (BOS booklet No.55) and "Petal Folds and more" (BOS booklet No.56).

An obituary by Nick Robinson appears in British Origami Magazine issue #316 - June 2019, and a tribute by Dave Brill appears in his "Brill's Beauties" column in the subsequent issue #320 - August 2019. These magazines are available for free download for BOS members from the BOS website.

Further information and links to Ted's work may be found on Gilad's Origami Page at ted norminton | Gilad's Origami Page (giladorigami.com)
