About Me: I first joined the BOS in 1981 having discovered origami a few years earlier via the Rupert the Bear Annuals and the well known Robert Harbin Origami books. Somehow origami became more of an occasional hobby in my 30s and membership lapsed before I rejoined in 2018. Having greatly enjoyed online events during lockdown I finally started attending mini-meetings and conventions and enjoying both the pleasure of folding with others and volunteering with the society. I enjoy tessellations (including gridding!) and simple, stylistic animal folds and modular origami.
