The Sanbo is a traditional Japanese box.
This model is easy to make, with a very lovely folding sequence. Ideal for folders from beginners to experts, and once you’ve learnt the sequence, a great model for mindful folding.

As with many models, its creator is unknown. However, we know this model has been passed down for hundreds of years because we see it depicted in Japanese art.Â
