Simple model of the week – Inflatable Rabbit

Perfect folding fun for Easter, the traditional inflatable bunny rabbit. Fold the model from a square, then blow into it to inflate!

To learn this model, we have diagrams by Dave Petty

If you need a little extra help, why not fold along with BOS member Lizzie Burns, as she teaches this model on her youtube channel.

This bunny starts from a waterbomb base. If you are just starting out with origami, getting to know the common bases is an essential part of learning. You can find videos for three different ways to fold the waterbomb base here.

This is a great resource if you want to teach models to others, having more than one way to fold something is always handy for teaching students of different abilities, and if you want to teach several models from the same base, why not teach your students all three?
