‘Her Majesty’ in Origami

The community project was organised by a group called ‘Frisby Creatives’ from Frisby-on-the-Wreake, near the town of Melton Mowbray.  It was decided earlier in the year to hold community origami workshops to teach others how to construct the Kusudama flowers.  Many of the villagers embraced the project, regularly delivering the paper creations to the team for assembly.
Her Majesty is now on display for one week in the St Thomas of Canterbury Church, Frisby-on-the-Wreake.  If people wanted to see her she will be visiting again  Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September as part of the Village’s Art Festival.
