#gomodular for world origami days

World Origami days take place every year from 24th October (the birthday of Lillian Oppenheimer, who founded the first origami group in America) and 11th November (National Origami Day in Japan)

This year the BOS are bringing you diagrams for modular models each day for all of the 19 World Origami days.

Modular Origami is a meeting or mathematics and art, and we’ve searched the BOS archives for classic models that everyone should try, found some great designs that you might have missed and been luck enough to get some great new models from leading creators. There is something for everyone, whether you’re an expert at modular origami, or just starting out with this fascinating field of paper folding.

Share your folds on social media with the hashtag #gomodular – we’d love to see what you make.

Each day we will release new diagrams, some available to everyone, some exclusive to BOS members. If you aren’t a member already, you can join the society from just £10 and get access to all the #gomodular diagrams, 6 magazines each year and much, much more.
