Folded Paper Heart of Auschwitz

There are very few folded paper objects with a story as amazing as this one. Against all the odds, in the concentration camp of Auschwitz, a group of young women made it as a birthday gift for their friend. The heart today is kept in the Holocaust Museum in Montreal. As today, January 27th Is holocaust memorial day, take a few minutes to read the story of the creation of the heart.
