Brighton and Hove Folders go SOFT

The Brighton & Hove area mini meeting is meeting in person again and having a bit of a rebrand. They are going S.O.F.T. As most of them aren’t from Brighton & Hove they have decided to call themselves the Sussex Origami Folding Team. This is their second, in person, meeting at the lovely Cafe An-An in Portslade. Japanese cuisine (lovely cakes and lunches), friendly chat and of course origami. This month they folded Rikki Donachie’s Spider and a basket by Vicente Palacios.

They are a new group founded by Louise in 2020 just before the first lockdown, they had two in person meetings then had to go online. Now they are back in person and have slightly changed their dates to accommodate everyone. Ameet found the little Japanese cafe but it’s not open on Sunday’s so they now meet on Saturdays, once a month. Usually the second Saturday but it depends on people’s diaries.

If you live in Sussex and would like to join the group they would love to welcome you to the fold. Contact Steph for  more information.  Her contact details can be found in the mini meetings section of the members area, drop them a line.
